THERAPY
KETAMINE TREATMENT
Ketamine is an alternative treatment for depression that has shown results in depression symptom relief in clinical trials. It is typically given to patients who have tried other forms of treatment and have not experienced relief. Ketamine works differently from other antidepressants because it starts altering your neural activity almost immediately. Patients see improvement in their wellbeing as soon as after the first infusion, and results can last for months after treatment ends.
Ketamine infusions are administered intravenously in one of our clinics. A typical treatment program involves a few infusions a week for 2-3 weeks for a total of 6 infusions at a dose that is suitable to your body weight and medical history. We also offer a nasal spray form of ketamine known as Spravato.
While ketamine is typically used to treat depression, it can also be effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, suicidal ideations, and chronic pain.
KETAMINE TREATMENT
Ketamine assisted therapy means coupling ketamine infusions with psychotherapy sessions. In order to receive ketamine treatment, we’ll conduct an evaluation to determine if infusions are right for you. If you’re already approved for ketamine therapy, you can add assisted therapy sessions to your treatment plan.
At Bespoke Treatment, we will work with you to determine which style of therapy is best for you, and you’ll receive 8 therapy sessions in total. The first session occurs before the ketamine treatment begins, then you’ll attend one session after each ketamine infusion, and one final integration session after the treatment program ends. If you opt into our Intensive Outpatient Program, we’ll create a more personalized treatment plan and adjust dosage and treatment options to suit your needs.
